Their Story

A timeless elopement amongst the ancient ruins of Muckross Abbey.

With only a general idea of what they envisioned for their special day, Kelli and Ethan trusted us to bring their Irish elopement to life. They ultimately decided on the breathtaking and historic Muckross Abbey, tucked away in Killarney National Park. Arriving in a charming horse-drawn carriage, they wandered hand-in-hand through the ancient stone archways and surrounding forests.

Their non-religious ceremony, beautifully tailored by their officiant Cara to include readings and their own heartfelt vows, was intimately captured on both digital and Super 8 film. After their vows, they celebrated with high tea at a lovely castle hotel, walked the streets of Killarney receiving well-wishes from locals, and even poured their own pints of Guinness before an amazing dinner.

We provided them with a Pinterest board and our ideas of what we want but we also allowed them the freedom to plan some things that they thought we would enjoy. We told them that we really wanted a Super 8 film videographer... Shane at Shane Turner Photography was also wonderful. The florals were gorgeous! ... They also booked our Officiant, Cara Fuller at The Celebrant Way. She was so amazing... Yasmeen and Laurence booked us a high tea reservation at a lovely castle hotel and then a reservation for dinner at an amazing restaurant in Killarney... they offered to take our bags back to our air bnb for us! Such a kind gesture and it was so so appreciated. It’s so evident in what they do that this is their passion and their dream. They are absolutely amazing!
