Real Love Story
Mollie & Ryan
A Coastal Elopement at Dunquin Pier, Dingle, Co. Kerry
Their Story
A last-minute elopement on the edge of the world, exactly as it should be.
Mollie and Ryan had planned to tour around Ireland with Mollie’s parents, but when they arrived, they decided to make it even more special: they’d get married. On the coast. At Dunquin Pier. The very edge of Europe. With just the two of them and their parents, they exchanged vows overlooking the Atlantic, the wild beauty of the Dingle Peninsula spread out beneath them and the Blasket Islands rising from the water beyond.
The ceremony was intimate, joyful, and perfectly them. Afterwards, they celebrated with a pint of Guinness at Maudie O’Sé’s, a legendary pub perched on the cliffside, toasting to spontaneity, family, and the magic of saying yes when the moment is right.
Captured by the talented Carrie Duggan, whose photography preserves the raw joy and beauty of their unforgettable day.

About the Venue
Dunquin Pier,
Dingle, Co. Kerry
Dunquin Pier — Dún Chaoin in Irish — is one of the most dramatically situated piers in all of Ireland, perched on the edge of the Dingle Peninsula with views across the Atlantic to the Blasket Islands. It is one of the most westerly points of Europe, a place where land meets sea with raw, unfiltered beauty. The narrow pier winds down the cliff face, offering a setting unlike any other — intimate, wild, and utterly unforgettable.
An elopement here is a statement: a commitment made at the very edge of the world, with nothing but wind, sky, and ocean as witness. It’s the perfect choice for couples who want something genuinely unique and deeply connected to the wild heart of Ireland.
