Northern Ireland & The Causeway Coast

Where the spirit of the High Kings lingers in the valley and historic estates are hidden by ancient woodlands. A land of timeless elegance and quiet majesty.

THE VIBE

Mythic, Epic, Storied. The Causeway Coast feels like a world pulled from a fantasy novel - and it often is. It’s for the couple who wants their wedding day to feel like a legendary adventure. Think jagged limestone cliffs, mysterious sea caves, and a romantic atmosphere that balances the weight of history with the wild energy of the North Atlantic.

Is Northern Ireland Right For You?

THE JOURNEY

The Coastal Explorer. Unlike the remote North West, this region is remarkably accessible. It’s just a 1 to 1.5-hour drive from Belfast’s airports, or about 3 hours from Dublin. The "Causeway Coastal Route" is one of the world’s most scenic drives, meaning the travel itself is part of the experience. We recommend a car or a private driver so you can hop between ruins and viewpoints that sit just minutes apart.

GUEST SUITABILITY

The Accessible Adventure. This is the perfect middle ground for guests. It offers the "wild Ireland" aesthetic without the extreme travel times. With charming seaside towns like Portrush and Ballycastle nearby, your guests can enjoy world-class golf, whiskey tastings at Bushmills, and cozy pubs with live music, all within a compact, easy-to-navigate area.

A Note on the "Border"

Northern Ireland consists of six counties in the northeastern province and is technically part of the United Kingdom. While there is no physical land border or passport check when driving from the Republic, you are entering a different country. Marriage laws here fall under UK jurisdiction rather than the Republic of Ireland. You will need to fill out a specific immigration form (ETA) which we can guide you through. Local currency is Pound Sterling (£) rather than Euro, but your cell phone will work seamlessly, and it is just as safe and welcoming as the rest of the island.

ELOPEMENT LOCATION

Dunluce Castle

Forget everything you know about castle ruins. Dunluce is a 16th-century fortress perched precariously on a cliff edge, connected to the mainland by a narrow bridge. For the ultimate privacy and the best views, we recommend a ceremony in the private cliff-top field adjacent to the ruins. It offers a 360-degree backdrop of crumbling stone and crashing waves that is, quite simply, unmatched.

PHOTO LOCATION

Giant’s Causeway

A UNESCO World Heritage site consisting of 40,000 interlocking basalt columns stepping into the sea. While it is a popular spot, we time your vows for sunrise or the "golden hour" at sunset when the crowds thin. Standing on these geometric stones at the edge of the ocean feels like standing at the beginning of time - a truly surreal and monumental place to start your life together.
